Frameless Sliding Shower Doors, Two Finishes
Shower Enclosures & Mirrors · Fresno, CA · June 2026
Two bathroom remodels, two different directions with the same glass approach: a frameless sliding door measured to the finished tile, with the hardware finish carrying the room's style.
The details
The first bath runs matte black barn-style hardware over gray marble-look tile with a hex-mosaic pan. The second goes the other way: a brushed gold header and fixtures over white marble. In both, the glass is a full-height tempered panel with no framing around the opening, so the tile work stays the star.
Why sliding
Both showers sit opposite fixtures where a swing door would collide, so each got a top-rolling sliding panel: full glass, no bottom track collecting soap scum, and smooth operation in a tight footprint.
The takeaway
Enclosure hardware is jewelry for the bathroom. The glass spec barely changed between these two projects, but the finish choice makes them read completely differently — which is exactly the kind of decision we walk through at the in-home measurement.
