Custom Glass Fabrication in California
Glass measured, fabricated, and finished to your exact specifications, for homeowners, designers, and contractors across California.
What is custom glass fabrication? Custom glass fabrication means cutting, tempering, edging, drilling, and finishing glass to a project's exact specifications rather than stock sizes. That includes table tops, shelving, wall partitions, wine room enclosures, glass counters, and architectural features. We template on site, fabricate to spec, and install anywhere in California.
Stock glass sizes cover stock situations. Everything else, from a wine room to a 10-foot table top to an arched transom in an older Fresno home, needs a fabricator who can measure, cut, temper, edge, and finish glass to the millimeter. That's the shop side of our business, and it serves homeowners, designers, and contractors across California.
What we fabricate
- Table and desk tops, either protective tops for wood furniture or full glass tables on standoffs and bases
- Shelving, including floating wall shelves, cabinet inserts, and retail display glass
- Partitions and wine rooms, frameless interior glass walls that keep light moving through a floor plan
- Counters and backsplashes, seamless and easier to keep clean than tile
- Mirrors cut to size, framed or frameless, up to oversized gym and studio walls
- Architectural one-offs: transoms, sidelites, angled panels, and the pieces no catalog carries
Materials and finishes
Clear, low-iron ultra-clear (no green cast, which matters for display pieces and furniture), frosted and acid-etched privacy glass, tinted, tempered, and laminated. Edges are finished to flat polish, pencil, bevel, or eased profiles. Thickness is specified to the span and the load. A ¼" cabinet shelf and a ¾" table top over walnut are different jobs, and we spec each one accordingly.
Template, fabricate, install
For anything larger than a shelf, we template on site, which captures the real dimensions, out-of-square walls, and obstructions a tape measure misses. Fabrication happens against that template, so installation day is a fit rather than a struggle. For trade partners, we also work directly from drawings with tolerances called out.
The right glass for the application
Tempering isn't only a code matter. Shelves over seating, table tops, and partition glass all deserve safety glazing, and we'll tell you when laminated construction is the smarter choice, since it holds together if it ever breaks. You get the right glass for the use, not just the cheapest pane that fits the opening.
Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of custom glass can you make?
Table and desk tops, cabinet and display shelving, interior partitions and wine rooms, glass counters and backsplashes, mirrors cut to size, replacement panes in odd shapes, and one-off architectural pieces. If you can sketch it, we can usually template, fabricate, and install it.
What edge finishes and glass types are available?
Flat polish, pencil polish, beveled, and eased edges. Clear, low-iron (ultra-clear), frosted or etched, tinted, and laminated glass, in thicknesses from ¼" to ¾" and up depending on the application. We'll recommend the right combination for the use and the look.
Can you match or replace an unusual glass shape?
Yes. We template irregular openings and shapes on site, including arches and angles, and fabricate to match. This comes up often in older homes, custom furniture, and remodels where stock sizes don't exist.
Do you fabricate for contractors and designers?
Regularly. GCs, interior designers, cabinet makers, and furniture builders use us as their glass shop. Send drawings or have us site-template, and we'll return finished, install-ready glass on schedule, with delivery and installation available statewide.
